| Just A Quick Note For Interested Customers,Is That This Release Seems To Be Region Free,Picture Quality Is Excellent.I've Noticed That A Few Stated Region 1 Disc's Seem To Coming Through Region 0.I'm Not Sure Why?Maybe With Blu-Ray Becoming So Popular Company's Like Sony And Warner Bros Are Putting Less Importance On Region Codes Which Is Better For British Viewers Without Multi-Region DVD Players.Hope This Review Helps British Customers. |

The first half hour before the wave hits is like a very badly written episode of The Love Boat, with painfully on the nose dialog ("What kind of priest are you?" "I'm a renegade! There's a fantastically catty, vindictive performance by Honor Blackman; Olivia Hussey looks fantastic and i mean what can i say about dreamboat Peter McEnery, (except when he has his mask on that is!) Oh but I'll tell you who steals the show: Wendy Hiller (who else?). Will you permit me a wee bit of pretension?, this is one of the best films I've seen about 'film' itself. The scene around the ... | I watched a run of the 20 part series around 29 years ago age 10 or 11 on bbc2, today was the first time I'd seen the films and they built a good foundation to follow them up with another viewing of the series.
As well as the scary and the tense moments there's a lot of comedy, the banter bewteen kolchak and the rest of the office staff is great to watch especially vincenzo and the characters really grow on you. | Okay it looks ravishing but the script was weak and the acting is nothing like as good as in Peyton Place. Great that its available on DVD but it should have been much better. |

| I have always been a great fan of the awful sequel film, which in a number of occasions can better the original as they can be so much more fun, made on a much smaller budget and throw up acting has-beens who presumable are just in them for the money.this film is a classic on all counts and has possibly been watched by more people than the original and four previous sequels as it hit the bargain bins from day one. | I bought this movie on reccomdation from someonelse and was very suprised at how good it was. It has great some great talent in the cast as well, a young lucy lui, sadie frost and a very funny craig sheffer. The movie dosent really have much of a plot. Basically Lucy Lui is kidnapped by two criminals on the run from the law and one of is still stalking his old girlfreind(played by sadie frost, who is being protected by Craig sheffer) but towards the end of the film all of the characters get into some very funny situations, and the movie plays along ...
