| Based on a true story 'American Gangster' takes us on another gangster style journey, but made refreshing as not based around the Mob or Italian stereotypes. As other reviewers here have noted, this film stands out by the great performances of both Washington and Crowe and they both add depth and flair to their respective roles. | This review is from the DVD so the real difference there are no extras Ben Stiller is thrown in at the deep end when he get a job as a nightwatch man at the museum were all the exibits come to life even the dinosaur bones.

| A cast of stars appear in this delightful film. A divorced father takes on a night-watchman's job and endeavours to placate his son by trying to prove himself a success rather than let the boy down.
Children will love this one, with its playful dinosaur, cowboys, Romans and a host of creatures, including a naughty monkey, and a toy car, all of which come to life once the museum has closed. Well worth viewing. Don't miss it! |

| Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) a dreamer, an entrepreneur and an inventor is in-between income opportunities again. | righteous kill should have been one of the movie events of the year. robert deniro and al pacino together in one film should have been something spectacular and epic to watch, instead, we get a film that would have probably gone straight to dvd if not for the cast. it's no heat, but then again i wasn't really expecting it to be. while the film is worth watching just for deniro and pacino who are both excellent, though of course both have done far better, and the supporting cast are good as well, it's poorly directed, jon avnett is definately ...
