| Kevin Smith seems to be a little star-struck with the army of famous faces he has to direct on this movie. If you like Kevin Smith movies, you'll recognise his style throughout this one: non-stop cursing, complex silly dialogue, extreme irreverence, it's all there.

| Perhaps the funniest Kevin Smith film upto now. Jay and Silent Bob return, this time as the leading characters of their own movie. Other characters make pleasant yet brief returns. This film is more whacky than any other Kevin Smiths pervious movies, but be warned its not for everyone. If your a foul-mouthed, pot smoking, comic loving, red-bloodied male .... then this film will be hard to dislike. If you like more sutble and tasteful comedy ... then maybe this isnt for you.

| I first saw this film more than a few years ago on filmfour and was so impressed I tracked down and bought the only available copy which was a £17 VHS tape. Though I thought it a worthwhile purchase at the time, had I known that just a couple of months later they'd bring out a 3 disc special edition I probably would have held out a little longer.

| 'Clerks: The Animated Series' is the cartoon TV show based on the 1995 Kevin Smith movie of the same name, that ran for a short period of time during 2000 (although was not shown in the UK until 2006). Each episode includes the four main characters from the movie(s) (Randal, Dante, Jay and Silent Bob) and follows events at and around the Quick-Stop, the convenience store where the lead characters work. | So, now I have received and devoured Clerks II. The region 1 version is, as one would expect from Kevin Smith, a treasurethrow of extra material, good deleted scenes, bloopers, little hidden gems and a long documentary.
The film as such was a real nice surprise. I was a little apprehensive, I worried he would go overboard on this, make a lot of fart and sticky jokes, as a reaction to Jersey Girl. | very different to anything else smith has come up with, in my mind much better, this is a film with heart, witty dialogue and relatable characters. i don't know why i love this film so much. needs two watches at least. better every time. |
