| I can't believe there haven't been any 5-star ratings for this PROFOUND television series. You may say "it's a children's show!" and while it's squeaky clean and child-friendly, there are MANY moments of GENIUS during this INCREDIBLE program. Take the episode where the cuddly soldier bakes some cakes, now THAT is what call a good idea! | My son loves it as much as I did. He refers to it as the "fire-engine" DVD. Great stories, fab music and a sense of real life that keeps my boys interest. |

| My 3 year old son loves this DVD and of course I insist on watching it with him ! The Trumpton and Camberwick Green DVDs are also must haves to bring back all those childhood memories. |

| I don't know why they put out a lovely packaged item like this, and then make it out of print in no time, only to be replaced by another complete collection with quite boring looking packaging.
This red packaged one is great. The DVD case is housed in an outer slip case, which is lovely with the picture on the cover representing all the three series, and when taken out, the DVD case folds out like a triptych, with the three DVDs perfectly matching and blending in with the background of their housing. | A great old timer that is just as much fun for children today. Good stories and fun characters that the little ones can identify with. May seem a bit dated by todays standards, but who says you need high tec productions and action to keep the smaller family members happy. They should be totally engrossed in the day to day happenings of Chigley (and its crossover into Trumpton & Camberwick Green)I know mine are and so am I watching it again after a good few years. Go on, treat yourself and the kids! |

| I so much wanted to give this DVD 5 stars but because of the appalling quality of the film print I just cannot. The series itself is just excellent. My kids just love it. Even my older kids who wouldn't give Bob The Builder, Fireman Sam, Postman Pat and Tellietubbies the time of day, seem to find Camberwick Green entertaining. Perhaps its the great catchy songs or perhaps the clear pronounciation of the narrator, or then again, perhaps the quality of the stories. For me, its the fact that the series shows an English ...
