| Yes - I was not too keen on watching this film; I am glad I did.
Comedy? Yes. But - I found it thought provoking and surprisingly articulate. It asks many questions which have never really found an answer. You can look at this film two ways. As a bit of fun and a good old BC frolic or as a work that calls on you to question challenging issues. | The trailer is clearly the best part of the film and this has been overated big time due to the A listers actors in this. I had high hopes for this but was very dissapointed when I finally sat down to watch it. Kiefer Sutherland and Michael Douglas are the big stars but did they really want to be in this film by the look of it the answer is no, they both treat it as a big pay day. |

| I could only give this movie three stars because I dont think it has much rewatch value, I'd recommend rental rather than buying it, unless you've seen it and are a fan.
The dialogue is seriously heavy duty, it would suit a book more and be more convincing, the actors do their best with it and its clear from listening to it the sorts of characterisation which it supposed to suit but it some how doesnt work aswell as it might. | Has an interesting if slightly unoriginal story, unfortunately there is little action of any kind, it slowly builds like a suspense thriller but seems to sizzle out, I suppose the end provides closure of some sort but it was disappointing. |

| What a dreadfully mediocre film and what a disappointment.
One wonders whether this was a desperate ploy or a painful attempt to re-establish Michael Douglas as a credible acting force. Clearly the central role would have been far better served by Keifer Sutherland who turns in a creditable performance. However the script can not be saved. It is predictable and unworthy of his talent. | The DVD box set offers excellent value for money and Martin Sheen and John Shea are very powerful as the Kennedy Brothers. History is repeated with accuracy although my only critisism is that their golden era is portrayed as just that "golden" although it clearly wasnt. I would still recommend this set to anyone for a rainy Sunday afternoon in. |
