| For anyone who has never seen this film, I highly recommend it. It is the mark of great cinema when you can watch and re-watch a film, not get bored and still find new things every time you watch it. Finding Nemo is one of those films.
The makers of this film wanted to transport the viewer to a magical underwater playground, where anything seems possible, and they succeeded! The time and hard work that clearly went into producing this piece of work makes it nothing short of spectacular. ... Read More: |

| A truly great film deserving of the maximum 5 stars.
Controversy surrounded this film upon it's release and it's easy to see why upon watching. They just don't make films like this today. I can't think of a bad thing to say about any part of the film. Keep an eye out for Scorsese's 2 cameo appearances during the film. If you want to see what New York was like in the 1970's grime and all, buy this film. |

| A very well made film with a gripping story-line. Shows the seamy, down-beat side of New York City. Great photography and acting, and atmosphere creation.

| Surely any film that boasts Jack Nicholson as a cast member needs to give him a starring - ie prominant - role? You might think so, but the producers here evidently didn't. This films problem is the lack of humour - think of the situation and what its based on: if anything is ripe for parody and humour, the deadly earnestness of TV news and the mores of those who produce it is. | Twilight Zone The Movie was always a special film for me as it featured a return to the twisted universe of Rod Serling for veteran composer Jerry Goldsmith, who had cut his teeth on low budget shows of its kind in the late 1950s and early 1960s. When the film was announced on Blu Ray this was good news, as by and large the four segments still stand up well as stories (if you can stand the over-sentimental mawkishness of the Spielberg entry and the dire "acting" of the prologue in the car anyway...)
