| The DVD of the godfather 1 and 2 had very poor picture quality. The Blu ray version is not much better. Hardly worth the extra money. There are so many good transfers of 70s and even earlier films to blu ray so I cannot see why the picture quality of this film(s) is so poor. I think we need to go back to the original master and start a massive restoration job!
I did not see godfather 3 so cannot make any comment on it. |

| I expect that if your buying this you'll know what its about so I'll review on the quality of the image if I may. Some films, especially older ones have a poor quality transfer onto DVD, though not this one. Colours and detail are first class, offering up a bright colourful image devoid of any nasties (blocking etc. If you've seen DVDs of the orignial Star Wars the picture quality is on a par with them. |

| well first i heard of oceans was when i saw oceans 11 and i throught 12 was...O.K. but then i heard oceans 13 was coming out i was like wooh yea ill go see it with my m8s....that was a mistake in the end 2 of the 3 of use feel asleep and i stayed awake coz i paid £3.00 for my ticket in the other oceans the biulding up was good and kept you intrested but in this 1 its not even there its a shocking film expcet maybe the end i surpose |

| this box set is one of the best box set we have seen in recent years....they are films that will be remembered for along time......its a change to what we usually see coming out of hollywood, like all the blood and gore films..or the none stop shooting ones ....... not that they arent good films they are its just good to see that they can produce something else for a change, with a great star studded cast ..i mean they gotta be good to have a star cast like they have ......and this is defintly a film for the ladies not so much for the plot ... | Fantastic. This film has plenty of everything you might want in this area. It's great entertainment, has the tang of reality plus a good deal of violence, domestic aggro and an interesting take on mob life.
It also has Al Pacino, Johnny Depp and Michael Madsen putting in top performances, and that can't be a bad thing. Very, very good movie. |

| This is great stuff, hugely good fun and absorbing from the get go. The script and performances are great (check out Edwin Torres' books Carlito's Way and After Hours - both the basis for this and stunning reading) and the film delivers in every way. Some fine action and pretty much iconic scenes and you have a real winner. |

| My husband and I read good things about this film and the impressive cast made us record it to watch.
We lasted only 30 minutes! This film was a typical case of style over substance. The dialogue and look was too slick and unbelievable with stupid open-mouthed gum-chewing characters sporting the classic gelled back hair look. Al Pacino's dialogue upon finding the three dead security van drivers near the start was farcical. I thought 'so you're a forensics specialist too?'
