| I thought the film was fab. My friends and I had a few drinks and had a great night watching the film. Julie Walters was outstanding as always. We laughed and sang all the way through the film. This is the type of film you can watch again and again. It's a feel good film. |

| First things first, the elephant in the room, Heath Ledgers performance, I was quite apprehensive at first due to the sheer hype people seemed to be piling around his role as the joker, but I approached the film with an open mind and discovered the performence far exceeds the hype, Ledger pulls out all the stops. It's top notch witch brings into sharp stinging focus the performance of Christian Bale, while he plays the roll with a certain accuracy and expected seriousness (why so serious? well he's batman...) ... | Absolutley hilarious, the new king of stand-up comedy releases his first dvd. Not only is it hilarious, with posh people describing how they're drunk (I'm completely bungalowed!) being a particular highlight, but it's also extremely good value for money. The stand up itself is longer than usual routines, (about 1 and a half hours)but it also comes with his brilliant routine at the Apollo.
Completely recommended for everyone |

| Strong film, probably best seen in cinema.
It worked on most levels for me - the robotic romance was just a bit cloying sometimes. Messages about human greed, servility to technology, environmentalism and also human endeavour delivered very effectively indeed. Enjoyable - and more than just entertainment. |

| No point adding to what is already well cronicled in terms of the movie itself and the acting etc but be aware if you have the blu ray version of this that there are audio "issues" which have been documented on several forums of a/v experts.
The bass and special efefcts sounds pack such a hell of a punch that it could damage your speaker set up if you have a budget system - the other problem is the audio when listening to the actors speak - it is barely audible and muffled in many sequences and you will find yourself cranking ... | Although BIG is a fairly funny DVD, its not one of lee evans' best. There seemed to have been many small one liners which were sometimes funny but not at all as good as his jokes in previous shows. Personally, i find lee much funnier when he re-enacts life situations with the use of funny voices, however in BIG there weren't as many. My advice to anyone who wants to see the best of lee evans is go and watch wired and wonderful, that is easily his best performance ever.
Overall, not too bad but only a 2 star rating |

| I thought Iron Man was horrible. As a fan of superheroes such as Batman, Superman and Spider-Man, I was actually looking forward to watching this film. When I saw it, it couldn't have been worse. The first half an hour was good, but towards the film went way over the top with stupid machines that puts on his suit, a ridiculous plot and altogether it was a horribly executed film. If there was 0 stars, I would give it to this. |

| This a stunning programme, which even in standard definition is a must buy. The quality of programming is amazing and this has to be the finest Attenborough documentaries to date. This is another documentary series from the BBC that is simply outstanding, with fantastic photography unseen in other productions of this sort. Combined with the stories of fascinating struggles that are endured by some species, some illusive, some unknown by many, this is a series not to be missed. |
