| A really good book to introduce a child to Swahili prior to a holiday to East Africa. The art work is great and it contains some good pieces about african culture. Although limited to an alphabet book I found it stimulated interest enough to encourage further learning. |

| I cannot express enough excitement about this book.I thought at first this would be a soso look back book as other weekly comic books have been.This is so much better than all the other nostalgia only books.
Look and learn was always more varied than most comics.Where else would you find actor,Edmund Kean alongside castles and historical figures like Dick Turpin and literary figures like Robin Hood.An entire story of the Trigan Empire comic strip is spread across this lovely large book. ... | I sat in a packed room reading this creased over laughing much to the alarm of the strangers around me who clearly thought I'd escaped from somewhere.
Being a child of the 70's this book hit so many marks with its spot on observations of classic TV. I've read, re read and re read it again so many times but each time is like the first. | It is no exageration to say this book is EXCELLENT. I have bought one for all the little children who are special to me (christenings, etc) as it is truly the most fantastically crafted book. Its very deleicate so should only be given as a "for keeps" or read with mummy or daddy cos it would be a sin to have it spoiled.
