Wasn't sure if it would be too old for him but its not its absolutely super and we read it every night together, he then looks at the pictures on his own and finds something he wants to learn more about the next night. I know he will use it for years to come as once he starts to read himself he will discover even more. | Until I bought this book I was afraid to cook wild mushrooms in case I poisoned people. The photographs and clear descriptions of the characteristics of different fungi in this marvelous book are so good that I now feel confident to pick a number of different mushrooms and I haven't made anyone ill, yet! The author also, helpfully, points out what the fungi taste like as there are many that are edible, but not worth eating. Recommended. |

| If I was not forced to at least give the book one star, it would be getting no stars... 'Unauthorised Guide' in the title should have given it away. This book is dreadful. Does Lois H. Gresh actually believe that this guide is adding any value to the 'Twilight Saga' or providing anything insightful to its dedicated fans? The author is trying to make money off the back of the success of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga and the upcoming Twilight movie. Truly dreadful!!! Do not waste money to buy this book. |

| This is a great book if like me you are interested in art but have a short attention span! The entries are very informative but concise and the whole breadth of art movements is covered. My only suggestion would be an updated version with more contemporary artists such as Anthony Gormley and Damien Hirst.
