| I bought this for my five year old as he is becoming aware of language. But after ten minutes the whole family was gripped and making up poetry and nonsense rhymes. The telly went off and we discovered a new game which we have played many nights since. Well worth the price. |

| This is an 'inspirational' book intended for younger kids, ages 4-9, written in a very basic style telling the story about how Buzz Aldrin got his name, 'Buzz' and how he got to go to the Moon. In its brief 40 pages, many with hand-drawn/painted illustrations, it gives an overview of his life and thoughts. On the down side, there are no actual mission photographs. | This is a fantastic book! I bought it for my son 2 years ago and it has proved invaluable for school projects, extra information etc. I have certainly improved my knowledge of British History reading it! All KS2 children should have one! |

Was looking specifically for world records to do with business but couldn't find much in here sadly ... would be a great book if they did one on business world records -- longest commute, biggest company losses, fastest share price fall, shortest term for a Chief Executive, longest prison sentence for a business crime! |

| I bought this book for my daughter for christmas, and she has used it for homework and for finding out information for her own use. Each entry has colour photographs and good quality information written in easy to understand language. It is colourful and has a 'how to use this book' at the beginning plus an easy to read world history section at the back. I would recommend this book to any chidlren and adults to use as reference or general reading. |
