| After buying this book for friends' kids aged 3 and 4, I bought this for some older kids (age 7 and 9). But then I thought that they were too old for it. I shouldn't have worried.
The kids loved it and and competed to see how many poems they could recite on their own. And by the end of the week we were ALL saying "Don't! Don't! Don't do that!" Brilliant! |

| This brilliant book is written in the same style as all of Gervase's novels and has captured that extra bit of wit over his other works. He thinks up the funniest of lines for the children and teachers and makes you laugh out loud. I normally would not buy a poetry book but after glancing through the first few pages of this in the book shop i had no hesitation in purchasing. Gervase is a genius in capturing the athmosphere. Try it yourself. |

| Julia Donaldson has a real flair for rhythms and rhymes and every book we own of hers our 2.5 year old son just adores. Nick Sharratt's illustrations are so colourful and charming that it is a joy to read this book every day which our son insists on every bedtime. I can't recommend it higher...it's just so good. Go out and buy it today! |

To an adult the words will seem repetitive but that is what appeals to a young child. If you want a good book to read to your child, this could be the one. |
