| I bought this for my Daughter (who is 18 months) as I wanted to introduce her to Father Christmas. It is a time-honoured classic and the illustrations are really beautiful - I think I appreciate them much more than she does at the moment! A really lovely book to buy and keep for now and the future. |

My personal imaginings and visualisation of the poem were vivid but it was amazing to see those images come to life through the illustrations. While this edition of Tennyson's poem is perhaps aimed at younger readers it is a pleasure for readers of all ages to enjoy and thrill at. The combination of such beautiful words and beautiful images is a marvel to grace anyone's bookcase. |

| I realised Michael Rosen was an outstanding person when I met him myself (he came to visit my junior school). He seemed very funny and up-beat. He writes humourous poems, as you can tell by the title of the book 'Centrally Heated Knickers'. He writes a lot about his childhood, and in this book his choice of subjects are really strange.
