| This is an excellent Maisy book. This edition is a small board type book with thick pages which are easily turned by little fingers. Only really suitable for pre school children.
This story features all the Maisy characters. There are 12 pages of text with the rest of the pages featuring some lovely illustrations. | I brought this as a birthday present for my 2 year old and she loves it. The flaps are pretty hard wearing - we've had one rip so far, but its a firm favourite. It took us a week to realise that there was actually a miniture book in the present at the end, which I thought would get lost immediately, but she puts it back everytime so it's there for the next time we read it. As with other Lucy Cousins books, the illustration is so bright it's very appealing to little ones. Another winner! |

| Another in the excellent series of lift-the-flap, pull-the-tab Maisy adventures. Somehow it lacks the humour of Maisy Goes to Bed, and the suspense(!) of Where's Maisy's Panda?. Our 18 month old daughter also seems to have more trouble with the tabs in the Playground book, and I can see it will need repairing before long. As ever though, it's beautifully illustrated and the book itself oozes quality with bright colours and clean white paper. |
