| As lift-the-flap books go this has to be one of the best out there for younger children. My daughter has had this from about 8 months and none of the flaps are ripped or loose. She loved Maisy and the other characters from the word go. Simple but effective book that provides much enjoyment. |

| My 4 year old never tires of this book and couldn't wait to get her hands on it. Lucy Cousins has wonderful illustrations that are eye-catching and fun. I wouldn't recommend it to a young child, as the pieces often don't sit up as planned and require quite fine motor skills. It's more of a "toy" than a book, but is educational nonetheless. |

| This is a very basic board book with 7 pages of text. All pages start 'Maisy Likes' and then sometimes there is just one word like painting, cooking, dancing or dressing up (ok that's two). I don't think there is much for young children to learn from this book as these are words in very common usage in their day to day lives anyway.

| Anyone unfamiliar with Lucy Cousins' wonderful creation, Maisy, has missed a treat. This bright, bold book, printed in astonishing colour really holds a child's attention. I began using Maisy books to stimulate my very young baby because the colours and images are so strong.This book is larger than life and introduces many new concepts of colour and shape. Like all the best children's books it is one that your child will grow into, getting new things from it as they develop. |

| This Maisy book is cloth, with spongy feeling pages that are perfect for babies to hold (and chew!). The fact that it is soft and flexible means that it is perfect for stuffing in a bag to keep little ones entertained when you are out and about. |

| We brought this book for our 2 year old daughter when she was 18 months and she's still looks at it most days. What we found really good about it is that it's a really interactive book. We sit together not just reading it, but dicussing the text and pictures in depth. My little girl knew most colours by the age of 24 months, and it is partly due to books like this. | This big Maisy board book is an absolute gem! Due to the size of the book, each page has lots of flaps, and the aim here is to find the flap that's hiding something to help Maisy and the gang find the trasure. Not only is Maisy's Pirate Treasure Hunt a great picture book but it's also a great read, as the short pieces of text on each page are written in rhyme.
