| My friend's Mum bought this book for my daughter at Christmas. She bought it because I am a single mum and I was so glad to see such a positve yet real book featuring a single Mum and her children. My daughter loves pointing out me and her, and the cat and dog. We read it every night even though it's now March! The lively pictures move on the pages and with we still see things in them that we hadn't spotted before. I know it's down to me to get all the other books in the series. |

| A great, great favourite. I've not encountered anything else quite like it. The illustrations are a perfect fit for the writing, for which I can find no suitable adjective. It's fabulous for allowing small children to practice thier counting skills, and there is always something new to notice in the drawings. Best of all, I find it unusually rewarding to read out loud. And I've had to do that many, many times. |
